It is with profound sadness that we remember and honor Erica Franklin, a beloved caregiver of Platinum Care Group who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Erica was a valued member of our team from 2018 to 2023, and during those years she made an impact that will never be forgotten. Erica was the kind of caregiver who elevated every life she touched. She had a natural gift for making people feel comfortable, safe, and seen. Her compassion was effortless, her presence calming, and her heart open to those who needed her most.
Whether she was providing hands on care or offering a warm smile, Erica brought dignity, patience, and genuine love into every home she entered.
Before and throughout her time at Platinum Care Group, Erica lived a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and creativity. She was a proud graduate of South Shore High School and a gifted entrepreneur who used her hands and talent to help others feel confident and beautiful. Above all, she was deeply devoted to her children, grandchildren, and family. Her strength as a mother and her steady love were at the center of her life.
Her ability to uplift others was what set her apart. Erica had a gentle way of lighting up a room, easing burdens, and reminding people of their worth. She made our company better simply by being part of it. Her clients adored her, her coworkers respected her, and her absence is felt deeply by all of us.
A LEGACY OF COMPASSION AND STRENGTH
Erica was also part of a remarkable caregiving legacy within our Platinum Care Group family. She was the daughter of Angela B., one of our most dedicated and admired caregivers. Everything we saw in Erica, including empathy, integrity, kindness, and quiet strength, reflected the foundation she learned from Angela. Even while caring for Erica through her illness, Angela continued to show unwavering professionalism, commitment, and resilience.
Her strength over the past years has been extraordinary, and our hearts are with her now more than ever. Erica leaves behind her daughters, her parents, her grandchildren, her sister, and a large and loving family. To them, and especially to Angela, the entire Platinum Care Group team sends our deepest condolences.
We are forever grateful for the years we shared with Erica and for the love, strength, and humanity she poured into her work every single day.
